It’s that time of the year again. The snow is finally gone and it’s time to change the clocks forward, switch from winter tires to all-seasons and inspect your brakes. All of that ice and salt build up from the winter can wear away any lubricants on the brakes and cause them to rust. Since you’ve got the car up to change your tires it’s the best time to service your brakes as well and get it all done at the same time.
It’s a good idea to have your brakes inspected at least once a year even if you don’t drive that much. Rust can build up and be detrimental to your braking experience causing all sorts of noise and other issues you’ll want to avoid. To help with this we recommend our Anti-Rust Coated Rotors which won’t rust on the hub and can save you time and headaches.
